MARYLAND STUDENTS TO BE HONORED BY TARGET AND TIGER WOODS FOUNDATION
EVENT TAKES PLACE ON TUESDAY, JUNE 2
BALTIMORE (May 28, 2004)

Students participating in Start Something will be honored next week in a special ceremony by state and corporate dignitaries. Start Something, Maryland, is the first statewide adoption of a Target Stores and Tiger Woods Foundation program, which encourages elementary and middle school students to set personal and professional goals and to understand their responsibilities as good citizens. In addition, Start Something helps students develop the confidence to dream, encourages them to persevere and inspires them to succeed.

The program was developed from the guiding concepts that professional golfer Tiger Woods used to set goals and strive for success.
